Amoy Plaza x Play-Doh

Amoy Plaza's "Summer Fiesta" program took an exciting turn as they unveiled Hong Kong's first-ever Play-Doh themed installation, transforming the space into a captivating Play-Doh school gymnasium. Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the beloved modeling compound, this immersive experience invited customers to compete against a host of lively Play-Doh characters on the "playing field." 

As part of this vibrant celebration, we were tasked with designing and creating the centerpiece of the event – the Play-Doh Photo Booth. This interactive attraction allowed visitors to capture their moments in the Play-Doh-inspired setting, elevating the experience with a unique and engaging twist. 

At the core of our design was the integration of cutting-edge technology that seamlessly blended digital and physical elements. The photo booth featured a large, high-resolution touchscreen display, enabling customers to select from a variety of Play-Doh character stickers and creatively "draw" on their photographs. 

Using advanced image processing algorithms, the system was able to accurately detect the contours of the user's photo and seamlessly integrate the selected Play-Doh stickers, creating a truly personalized and playful digital representation. Customers could then choose to have their customized photos emailed to them, allowing them to share the fun and excitement with friends and family.

The result was an interactive and captivating experience that perfectly complemented the larger "Summer Fiesta" program. Customers were delighted by the opportunity to become part of the Play-Doh universe, engage in creative expression, and walk away with a unique memento of their visit to Amoy Plaza.

The seamless integration of technology, digital creativity, and physical design elements demonstrated our team's ability to conceptualize and execute a truly engaging and memorable experience for the event attendees, further solidifying Amoy Plaza's reputation as a hub of innovation and entertainment.
