Developed a naked eye 3D display for Tseung Kwan O Desalination Plant using BIM models to showcase the desalination process. Installed a 3D LED display at Ma On Shan Water Treatment Works for public education.
Our team has been entrusted with the task of developing a naked eye 3D display for the Tseung Kwan O Desalination Plant (TKODP) in order to showcase the intricate process of desalination. Leveraging a BIM model, we have meticulously rendered the plant site to create a visually stunning video that effectively communicates the functionality of the building.
The video serves as an immersive experience that takes viewers on a virtual tour of the TKODP, providing a comprehensive understanding of the desalination process. Through the utilization of advanced naked eye 3D display technology, we bring the plant to life, allowing viewers to perceive depth and dimension without the need for special glasses or equipment.
To ensure an accurate representation, our team has utilized the intricacies of the BIM model to showcase the various stages and mechanisms involved in desalination. From the intake of seawater to the purification process and the production of clean, freshwater, every step is visually depicted with precision and clarity.
Furthermore, we have installed a state-of-the-art 3D LED display wall at the Ma On Shan Water Treatment Works. This setup provides a public platform for individuals to learn more about the TKODP and its vital role in water supply management. Visitors can engage with the display, gaining insights into the technology, infrastructure, and environmental significance of desalination.
The development of this naked eye 3D display and its installation at the Ma On Shan Water Treatment Works marks our commitment to public education and awareness. By harnessing innovative technology and the power of visual storytelling, we aim to inform and inspire individuals about the desalination process and its importance in meeting the growing demand for clean water in Tseung Kwan O and beyond.
About Client
In celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Water Supplies Department (WSD) will organize the Ma On Shan Water Treatment Works Open Day on 8 and 9 October 2022 (Saturday and Sunday).
