Our team has been entrusted with the task of developing a naked eye 3D display for the Tseung Kwan O Desalination Plant (TKODP) in order to showcase the intricate process of desalination. In celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Water Supplies Department (WSD) will organize the Ma On Shan Water Treatment Works Open Day on 8 and 9 October 2022 (Saturday and Sunday). Members of the publics can join guided tours by our staff to visit the water treatment works facilities to understand the water treatment process as well as the scientific knowledge related to water treatment. We also set up a special exhibition providing an overview of the water supply in Hong Kong and a number of development projects in recent years to echo with long-term city development as well as to building Hong Kong as a green and sustainable smart city.
